Heads Up for Next Week (June 1 - 4)

Howdy fearless staff!

Before we all leave for a wonderful three-day weekend, I just wanted to remind us all of things we have coming up next week.

-Monday we are.... closed!
-Start of Summer Reading Program
-Tuesday @ 10:30AM - Storytime with Carolyn
-Wednesday @ 3PM - Family Movie
-Thursday @ 3PM - Ted Schwank Magic and Illusions
-Friday @9:15AM - Serials Training for all staff
-Carolyn will be on vacation June 3 & 4

-Our phones will not be available for public use, unless a child needs to call for a ride home.  Thank you for being cooperative on this issue.  We don't want to tie up our front desk with people hung on the phone.  We also don't want to gett cursed out for reminding patrons to keep quite, or limit their time on the phone.

School is already out and we want to make sure that we maintain a safe environment for all library patrons.  Together we can readily enforce the library policies and procedures regarding Unattended Children and other safety hazards.  The more consistent we are in enforcing these policies, the easier life will be on us all (so we hope).  We will be signing in all children who are unattended and under the age of 15.  Should they continue to come in unattended or be left at the library without supervision we will address the situation with appropriate measures. 

Please remember to document all incidents with as much detail as possible, our cameras are still out of commission so our accounts will be relied on more heavily for information.
